Laura Conlon is an artist, filmmaker and educator from Belfast. Conlon’s practice explores grief, ritual, place and folklore. It is an exploration of narrative abstraction and temporality in relation to the uncanny and preternatural. A process of negotiation between imagined and historical time where the boundaries between the real and unreal, stasis and motion, presence and absence are blurred; consciously constructing a space to visualise this tension.
